Revolution Chiropractics’ Revolutionary Way

What do we do at Revolution Chiropractic and how is this revolutionary?

The primary objective for us at Revolution Chiropractic unlike any other Chiropractic Office is to make sure we reset your structure to normal. Most chiropractor talk about restoring your posture but this is not the same as your structure. Some chiropractors will even go as far as saying that they are restoring your structure but they are not doing anything other than standard adjustments of the spine.
The structure does not change with standard adjustments alone. I’ve spent 5 years analysing and researching this topic and although adjustments are literally the most amazing this you could do for your body… and they are a great tool for resetting your nervous system and improving mobility and flexibility, reducing pain and discomfort… they won’t be as effective as they can really have the potential to be if you don’t follow up the adjustments with some specific rehabilitation. Also… structural corrective chiropractors will utilise different adjustments techniques proven to improve your structure. The standard way most chiropractors adjust you just won’t do it.

Firstly let’s clear up some misinformation out there about posture and the correction of it…

Your posture depends on your structure. So any postural things you improve will not be long term if your structure is out. There are many practitioners that are posture focused but from my knowledge and understanding this is kind of a bit of waste of time if your structure is out. & most of these practitioners won’t look at your structure at all, they don’t know how to access your structure and how to correct it. First of all, a structural corrective chiropractic adjustment is needed before you do any rehab otherwise your structure won’t change. How can it when it’s been fixated in one position for years potentially? There is so much adhesion and scar tissue around some of these structural shifts that an superficial exercise won’t have that much effect on.

You need a structural corrective chiropractic adjustment to start the engine. These adjustments literally fire up your joint and muscle receptors and there’s new information being fed from your body to your brain via you nervous system. Then your brain can alter its control of your body / make it more appropriate and better.⁣

So now…what do I mean by structure and what’s a normal structure?

structural chiropractic
Well you see, your spine has 2 primary curves. These are called the ‘Cervical Lordosis’ and the ‘Lumbar Lordosis’ which basically means the ‘neck curve’ and the ‘lower back curve’ (most commonly known as the lower back arch).
A normal structure has these two curves in their correct position and form like the left side of the picture shown.
The right side of the picture as you can see has a different structure. The neck curve looks straightened and it’s forward, the lower back curve also looks straightened and guess what happens to the mid back? It accentuates and you get that ‘bad posture’  or ‘granny hump’ look. Why does this matter and how can it impact your musculoskeletal health and your overall health?

Here is how it all works

When a bone in misaligned, it doesn’t have its proper motion and movement that it normally should have. Why is this important and what can a structural chiropractor do to improve your health? ⁣Well without a properly functioning joint, the muscles that surround that joint become useless, they also lose nerve connection to your brain. How? Let’s look at a couple of analogies to understand this. ⁣
1. What happens to the muscles when you break a bone and have to put a cast around it to wait for the bone to repair? The muscles waste away right? They get smaller and weaker. Why? Because without joint activity and movement, muscles don’t need to do anything.⁣
So this is how muscles around a misaligned joint that doesn’t move properly lose their strength. They become weak and are therefore less supportive for your structure, creating abnormalities in your structure⁣
and posture and without the muscle support you will damage joints, bursas, capsules, discs, nerves and all that’s within them. ⁣
2. Muscles and joint have mechanoreceptors that send information up to your brain (via your nerves) so that your brain can alter its control of the body / make it more appropriate and better.⁣
Without joint motion and muscle activity, these receptors also don’t work therefore the brain doesn’t have accurate information from the body therefore it does not control the body the best possible way. It’s use it or lose it for the brain, once it’s had a while of lack of proper connection to a part of your body, it will become more and more confused and creates more compensations in your body which causes tightness and stiffness in your muscles which can cause pain. Your pain may also be coming from repetitive trauma on your joints and all the structures within the joint because of lack of muscular support. ⁣

So at Revolution Chiropractic we take it up a notch

We probably.. in fact i’m willing to bet that we have the most thorough process of consultation and examination of any chiropractor in new zealand at least. Most chiropractors have pre-printed reports they run through with you to tell you what’s going on in your spine. They have pre-printed recommendations on your water intake, caffeine intake, exercises and so on. They do their consult, examination and adjustments in no more than 20 minutes and they’ll have your report done in 5-10 minutes. Thereafter your appointments will be anywhere between 3-5 minutes.
Okay… believe me, I KNOW how amazing chiropractic adjustments can be…so putting in the bare minimum effort gets your a long way and you look like you’re a god sent… what i’m saying here is not to downplay chiropractic at all… I mean I am in LOVE with chiropractic and what it does for us… but at Revolution Chiropractic we like to push chiropractic to highs that most chiropractors don’t bother doing so… it costs them time and money to do so… and quite frankly it’s not as profitable.

So what do we do that’s so different?

Firstly, we like to see the individual for a free consultation first and then decide if we can help and inform them how exactly we can help, including costs. This free consultation is 30 minutes long with one of our strutural chiropractors.
Only if you are a good candidate for structural corrective care and you want to fix your issues at their core, we go through to a complete structural examination which includes structural spinal analysis using specialised equipment and x-rays.
After analysing your postural photographs taken in our office and your X-rays in detail plus all the other information acquired during the examination we conduct a thorough report of diagnosis, rehabilitation and recommendations on various parts of your lifestyle such as sitting, standing, sleeping, nutrition, supplements, etc.
This process takes up anywhere between 30-90 minutes and your report is detailed to its’ core… it can be anywhere from 10-15 pages long.
We also adjust your spine specific to what’s going on in your structure to correct it as well as restoring your spinal curves to normal again using specialised rehabilitation equipment.⁣

We see all sorts of musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal conditions at Revolution

We see many people with neck or back pain and bulging or herniated discs that have gone through procedures like microdiscectomies previously who are back to square one a year or two down the road. (Micro-discectomy is surgery to remove herniated disc material that is pressing on a nerve root or the spinal cord). Upon a very detailed examination we find the cause of WHY your discs are herniating to start with and treat the actual CAUSE so that this cycle of herniation, microdiscectomy, herniation, bandage treatment stops.⁣
We also see individuals with pain and problems in other areas of their body such as shoulder pain, knee pain, ankle or foot pain, shin splints, pregnancy related issues… and there are always those people with things such as post concussion syndrome, dizziness and vertigo, TMJ dysfunctions (jaw pain), sinusitis and recurrent sinus infections, brain fog which we also help. ⁣Of course it is pertinent you see your structural chiropractor for any head or neck related injuries such as concussions and whiplash.

Blue Light: The Good & The Bad

Every sort of screen emits blue light and how many hours do we spend sitting in front of a screen every day? We are looking at screens every day whether it is watching shows, scrolling through social media, or doing office work. By the end of the day, we probably spend a good 12-15 hours on a screen. As a result, we will definitely be affected by blue light somehow. So today we’ll break down some of the effects of blue light.

Pros

  • Blue light helps regulate our circadian rhythm. Blue light can be found in the sun. Every day we are woken up by blue light. It is what triggers us to wake up. Without it, we will be in hibernation most of the time.
  • Blue light stimulates alertness, memory and cognitive function. This is because blue light increases the speed of neuron growth and strengthens neuron connection in the hippocampus. As a result, we become more focused and retain information a lot easier.
  • Apart from brain growth, blue light also stimulates eye and vision growth. Children at a young age needs to be exposed to a moderate amount of blue light in order to for their eyes to grow. The key work there was MODERATE. Too much blue light can also be bad but we’ll touch on that later. Some studies show that too little blue light can actually stunt growth and can cause near sightedness.

Cons

  • Blue light decreases sleep quality. While blue light keeps us up it decreases melatonin production. Melatonin is a hormone created in the pineal gland that controls sleep cycles. Due to the shorter wave lengths from blue light, the body becomes more sensitive to it as a result, delta brainwaves which is induces sleep is also supressed.
  • Too much blue light can lead to eye strain. Human eyes are not very good at filtering out blue light due to the shorter wave length. Since the wave lengths are shorter, it scatters more than other colours making it harder to focus. At the same time it reduces contrast in other colours. As a result, our eyes need to work extra hard to filter out this out unnecessary colours thus leading to eye strains.
  • Finally, too much exposure of blue light may increase the likelihood of macular degeneration. Again due to the shorter wave length of blue light, it is easy for it to penetrate the retina (the inner lining at the back of the eye). This is where most of the light sensitive cells are located in the eye. Too much blue light can actually damage these cells. As these cells degenerate further, it can lead to permanent loss of vision.

Blue light is a natural source of light that can be found anywhere. This light is very important since it helps with waking us up, increasing brain function and growth. But due to technology and lifestyle we may be being overexposed. Too much of anything can be bad, with blue light it decreases sleep quality, lead to eye strains and may increase the likelihood of macular degeneration. There are a couple of ways to decrease the effects of blue light. One, spend less time in front of screen. Especially 30-60 minutes before you go to sleep so you can increase sleep quality. Second, wear glasses that filter out most of this light. This way your eyes will be less stressed. Remember blue light in moderation is good but too much of it can worsen your health.

Children and Mobile Phones

Children mobile phones - text neck

Research has shown us not to let children use mobile phones, either as a toy or to talk on. Their skulls are thinner and smaller than an adults and they will absorb more radiation into their developing brain.

If you have not already seen the documentary Mobilize, there is now an opportunity to watch it for free here. You can also find out more about the film by going to the Mobilize website here.

There are more informative links on cell phones and cancer, and also tips for safer cell phone use below.

Mobile phones and cancer in humans

Links to more studies are below:

Radio-frequency (RF) radiation in the microwave range produced by cordless and mobile phones. Cordless phone bases and cell phone towers have been classified by the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer as a “possible carcinogen” (type 2B).

Cellular phone use safety tips:

We realise that many people have jobs that require them to use a cellular phone in their day to day lives. While there is probably no way to make cellular phone use completely safe, there is information to help you reduce the risks of unavoidable cellular phone risk.

Ideally, cellular phone use should be minimised. The more cellular phones are used, the more cellular phone infrastructure is needed to support the phones use. Living close to cellular phone base stations has been associated with increased risk of cancer in several studies.

Mobile Phone use and Skeletal Alignment

If exposure to radiation and providing endless distraction isn’t enough… cell phone usage is responsible for yet another hazardous side effect! Text neck!

Chiropractors have observed that most people hunch over their mobile phones and developing neck and back strain, headaches, achy shoulders and even in their arms and hands.

If you are experiencing symptoms similar to the above and would like a professional opinion, then go see your chiropractor or feel free to contact Revolution Chiropractic.

Raising Healthy Children: Tip # 3

By Dr Jennifer Barham-Floreani: Tip # 3: TOUGH LOVE

Many parents lament that they can’t get their children to eat certain foods or meals that they prepare…

Despite their best intentions, many parents today arrive at a stand-of with their children; the children dictate what they will and won’t eat, and then the parents become distressed when their kids fall ill with frequent colds and flus, ear infections and asthma, to name but a few repercussions of poor diet. Or in ever-growing cases, children acquire seemingly mysterious behavioral disorders with long labels that require medication. Even then, the link is often not made between diet and health.

Sometimes it seems a whole lot easier to just give into children and throw into their lunchboxes that vegemite, peanut butter or jam sandwich, a packet of chips, or a cupcake. There is no doubt that this type of approach to lunches is quick, simple, and easy. But the question is:

Is life simple and easy when we have hyperactive, angry or unwell children?

NO, it isn’t…full report

…Life is draining physically, emotionally and financially.

We cannot pour soft drinks or additives onto a potted plant and expect it to survive… the same applies to our body.

There is a direct relationship between what we eat and our quality of life and health. In Lunchbox Solutions, I discuss a variety of approaches to retraining fussy eaters.

Every family must negotiate guidelines and boundaries around many facets of lifestyle and behavior, but there are none as important as diet, because what your children eat has an ENORMOUS IMPACT on the whole family. It’s exhausting when they are chronically unwell when they are irritable and friends and family don’t want to spend time with them. So I’d encourage you to pick your battles and be clear that the “food battle” is one you want to win!

Even if your child appears quite healthy, remember that the impact of poor food choices may have a long-lasting effect on their health as adults. The cumulative damage of refined sugars and processed foods can be an enormous contributor to illnesses including diabetes and heart disease. It is our role as guardians to empower our family with proactive and positive habits.

Since my boys were very little they learned that they need to eat primarily wholesome foods and at times “sometimes foods.” It is vitally important that children learn how they can strengthen digestive power through eating foods that are as close to their natural state as possible including a wide variety of fresh organic vegetables and fruits, raw or organic nuts and seeds, beans, whole grains; you get the idea.

Foods Cont.

Foods should nourish and heal the body. Eating foods in their most natural state ensures we receive the highest nutritional content. Whole foods contain naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, enzymes, essential fatty acids, amino acids and more.

Consuming food shouldn’t be a toxic event. By eating “whole foods” we also help our family to reduce their intake of harmful chemicals. Such as preservatives, synthetic nutrients, and other additives that are considered non-foods (which are added to most all processed foods.)

If you can — try to eat organic foods whenever possible. This will help to ensure you avoid harmful toxins such as antibiotics, synthetic hormones, pesticides, herbicides, GMO’s, and synthetic fertilizers. Purchasing organic food is not a luxury but rather an integral step in securing our health. Pollutants in our modern environment—for example, pesticides, heavy metals, herbicides and fumigants—have been linked to abnormalities in behavior, perception, cognition, and motor ability during early childhood, even when exposure is at so-called harmless levels.

The goal is to teach the child to make these good decisions themselves

Where possible encourage children to help you shop and prepare meals and take the opportunity to highlight the pros and cons of different foods and false foods.

Encourage your children from a young age to also be open to having supplements or “vitamin boosts” from time to time. For example, smoothies and homemade juices are a great way to add multi-mineral powders and probiotics into their weekly diet. High-quality probiotics can provide the necessary bacteria for a healthy gut, and they are an essential aid to digestive health for all children — I would recommend taking these a few times a week. It’s also a great habit to encourage them to randomly have zinc and vitamin C powder drinks or multi-mineral drinks particularly if they have been really busy or had a few late nights.

Children Eating More Fruit, but Fruit and Vegetable Intake Still ...

Raising Healthy Children: Tip # 2 How?

By Dr Jennifer Barham-Floreani: How? Take an audit.

Whenever we want to set ourselves a new goal we have to know where we are starting. This allows us to look back in 6 and 12 months time and celebrate how far we have come. It’s hard work being a parent and it’s harder again to a parent who’s committed to healthy habits and rituals. So, it’s important to take stock and appreciate your efforts.

So let’s begin how to audit.

Q: How Much Sugar Do You Each Consume Daily

Without realizing it, most adults and children eat refined sugar for breakfast, lunch and dinner via processed cereals and grains. Most of us consume an average of 53 kg of sugar each year (approximately
29 teaspoons of added and natural sugar each day), and 75 percent comes from the packaged and convenience products we eat and drink.

I’d encourage you to investigate the health risks associated with eating too many sugars (in Lunchbox Solutions I discuss the dangers of sugars and outline what are healthier ways to sweeten recipes, so that’s a great place to start).

There are several reasons should we should avoid sugars, including that they raise our insulin levels. Insulin is a hormone
that our pancreas produces and its main function is taking up blood glucose (sugar) into the cells for energy. High insulin levels are thought to contribute to multiple health issues but for this post where we are focused on raising the health status of our children — let’s keep to three main issues.

Key issues with sugar

1 High insulin levels can depress the immune system weakening our ability to fight disease. This occurs because white blood cells need stacks of vitamin C to kill bacteria and viruses. So our white blood cells work to accumulate
and store vitamin C within the cell. The problem is that vitamin C and glucose have similar chemical structures so they then compete to enter the white blood cells. Guess what happens when we have lots of glucose in our blood from eating lots of foods that contain processed sugars? Glucose wins and our white blood cells become deficient in vitamin C compromising our ability to fight bugs.

2 Too many sugars also upset the integral balance of good and harmful bacteria in the gut. When we consume too many sugars we can create an overgrowth of harmful yeasts and bad bacteria which override our helpful “disease fighting” helpful bacteria — hindering our immune system.

3 Refined sugars also provide us with no vitamins or minerals. In order for them to be metabolized, they draw on the body’s reserves of vitamins and minerals, depleting our body’s nutrients.

ACTION: Start a food diary and observe just how much sugar find there way into your daily diet. Here’s a tip for when looking at products and packaging — sugars tend to be any ingredient ending in “ose” — sucrose, fructose, dextrose, lactose etc. Try it — it will shock you!

Drastically reducing sugar (initially this is not an easy task) not only lightens the load on your child’s immune system it also allows your children to get off the ‘blood-sugar rollercoaster’.

Here’s another tip — cutting back sugar … life just gets better. Sugar highs and lows, make us all irritable and grumpy.

Audit Cont.

Q: How many processed foods are in your pantry, fridge and child’s lunch box?
-Literally count the number of packaged items and take an audit. If a food item has more then 5 or 6 ingredients you can bet it’s refined, altered and damaged. If you can’t pronounce the names of the ingredients in the food item, mostly likely it’s full of chemicals. I’d encourage you to become a food critic and learn what all those numbers and complex sounding ingredients really mean. Please see “Become a Food Critic” and the “Poor Choice, Better Choice and Fabulous Choice” Table in “Empower Their Choices” in Lunchbox Solutions.

Q: How many pieces of fresh fruit and vegetables are you all currently consuming each day?

-Daily consistency is key here.

Q: How many glasses of water do you drink?

Q: What sort of water do you drink?
-And I don’t mean the wet kind. One of the simplest and most important things you can do is invest in a water filter to protect your family against chemically-treated water. Most of our drinking water today contains chlorine and chlorination by-products, as well as numerous other contaminants. Drinking good quality water via a high quality filter system — promotes detoxification, enhances nutritional uptake and ensures optimal hydration.

Help your children develop the habit of drinking water throughout the day rather than juices and soft drinks. A mere two per cent drop in our body’s water supply can trigger signs of dehydration: fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math and difficulty focusing on smaller print, such as a computer screen. Many children are frequently dehydrated, suffering with concentration issues, constipation and digestive problems.

Q: How many prescriptions has your child had in the last twelve months and over their lifetime?
-With regular chiropractic care and addressing these other tips for raising healthy children, many parents delight in no longer relying on antibiotics and instead being able to rely on their child’s own immune strength.

Q: How many sessions of sweaty exercise would each family member perform each week?
-Ideally each of us should be raising our heart rate 5 times a week.

Q: How many harmful chemicals are in your personal care and cleaning products?
-Source brands that are genuinely wholesome — free of nasty chemicals and toxins which are readily absorbed through the skin and tax our body and its defence system.

It can be a “reality slap” to take an audit and look at where you currently sit along the “healthy” and “not so healthy” scale. Where you sit on the “fresh” and “disastrously preserved” scale. Remember though that every moment we make choices and have the opportunity and capacity to influence both our child’s — short and long-term health.

8 Benefits of Exercising

We all have an extremely busy lifestyle and quite a few of us may not have the time to exercise. Additionally, summer is coming up and most of us would want to get ready for the beach body. But as a health practitioner, it is my duty to emphasise the importance of exercise, how it changes the body and how much of an impact it has other than just looking good.

Here is a list of some reasons why we know exercising consistently is important:

  • Reduces the risk of osteoporosis.
  • Increases bone and muscle strength.
  • Lowers blood cholesterol levels.
  • Lowers blood pressure.
  • Decreases the risk of type 2 Diabetes.
  • Increases endorphins which makes us feel good.
  • Decreases the risk of dementia.
  • Improves posture.

We have special little things in our body’s mitochondria. These mitochondria act as the power generator. They generate energy in our body, also known as ATP, from oxygen, fats, sugar and protein.  These ATP are what fuels the body to do what it needs to do, anything from muscle contractions and conducting nerve impulses is generated by ATP. Exercise promotes a process called mitophagy. Mitophagy is the removal of damaged or defected mitochondria after a period of stress. This promotes new and healthy mitochondria to take over providing a more efficient system to burn fat and sugar. As a result, this leads to bigger and stronger muscles.

I’m not asking you to be an athlete and exercise over 2 hours a day. but, as a recommendation, doing 30 minutes of exercise every day is enough. We may already be exercising every day without knowing it such as mowing the lawns and walking to work. If you are not regularly exercising, I’m going to ask you to go for a brisk walk for 30 minutes after dinner around the neighbourhood!

There are plenty of different types of exercises but the main two are cardio and weight training. In the next two weeks, I’ll be covering the benefits of each. Just remember we should all go for a 30 minute walk after dinner this week!

How to Deal with Shin Splints

Shin splints present as a dull ache along the inner shin. There can be some possible swelling in the area. Although it’s usually nothing to worry about, they may lead to stress fractures in the tibia if not addressed properly.

Shin splints often present when runners (especially beginners) try to run too much too quickly. Running causes a lot of repetitive impact on the body. The muscles and bones need time to sense the demand being placed on them and rebuild accordingly to better handle that load/demand. Therefore, if a runner tries to increase the volume and/or intensity of their training too quickly it can overstress those tissues.

It’s also not just found in runners. It’s common in any sports that require jumping or sharp cutting, such as basketball and tennis.

The best way to avoid shin splints altogether is to increase the intensity, frequency and duration of your training sessions GRADUALLY. However, it’s hard to quantify how to go about gradually increasing these factors as every human body is different and some are more resilient than others.

So if you do end up with shin splints you can do any or all of the following to treat it.

  • Strengthen your glutes (shown below)
  • Stretch your calves/feet (shown below)
  • Foam roll your legs (shown below)
  • Rest
  • Visit a Structural Chiropractor for individualized assessment and program

Shin splints can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months to heal. So you’ll have to be patient and be sure to stop any activities that trigger it. The faster you begin treating it, the faster it heals.

Low Back Pain and Pregnancy

Just when you think being pregnant is enough to deal with, nature has to throw in the curve-ball of a higher risk of low back pain. Not only that, but statistically, it’s said to start early on in pregnancy and increase over time. This can put a lot of stress not only on the mother, but everyone around her as well. So what causes it? How does it affect your baby’s development? And what can you do about it?

Cause

Low back pain on it’s own is a complicated condition. Muscles, ligaments, discs, and tendons are all potential culprits, but sometimes even your brain itself perceives dysfunctional patterns and sends pain signals as a response.

As the baby grows, the lower back will gradually start to increase its curve as the pelvis tilts. The shoulders move back to compensate for the shift in the centre of gravity. Finally, the head takes on a more forward position, a condition called Anterior Head Syndrome. All this happens as the body releases a special hormone to relax the ligaments in the pelvic area to allow for easier birth and movement of the structures as the uterus enlarges.

All of these shifts and changes increase stress and strain on the low back, so it’s no surprise that low back pain is expected during pregnancy.

Baby Development

The low back pain itself is not the concern when it comes to the baby’s development. However, it does throw a wrench in the works when you’re trying to maintain an optimal, healthy environment for your baby. It can make it hard to stay on track with movement and exercise, get high quality sleep, prepare healthy meals (to avoid eating out and consuming processed, innutritious food), and manage stress levels.

Solutions

  1. Walking: 30 minutes a day should do, just to get some motion in the pelvis and avoid uninterrupted sitting.
  2. Foam Rolling: working on the fascia and muscles will help your soft tissue adapt to all the structural changes that your body is going under.
  3. Strength Training: developing strength, especially within your core stabilizing muscles, can help immensely with low back pain and overall health.
  4. Structural Chiropractic: a structural chiropractor can act as valuable asset in the health care team of any pregnant woman. They can keep the body functioning optimally as well as address conditions such as Anterior Head Syndrome and low back pain. We usually find pregnant women to have the speediest recovery at our office.

If you’ve got a baby on the way, try these out and benefit from a better and more comfortable pregnancy. If you have any questions about pregnancy, low back pain or other health concerns, feel free to bring them up with your Structural Chiropractor.

Headaches and Migraines in Children

Introduction

Migraines are among one the most common global health problems in children. With its disabling symptoms, it can impair the child’s functioning and affect their quality of life.

In children, the clinical presentation of migraines differs from migraines seen in adults. Therefore, it is often under-diagnosed.

According to the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICDHD-2), the child must have at least five episodes of migraine attacks following its diagnostic criteria.

The ICDHD- 2 criteria include:

The etiology of migraines

The etiology of migraines in both adults and children is unknown. However, it is believed that migraines are primarily caused by neuronal sensory dysfunctions or disturbances. This leads to the involvement of the trigeminovascular system. As a result, disturbances of neuronal amino acid and calcium channels reduce the threshold for a variety of external and internal factors. These factors can trigger episodes of cortical spreading depression also known as CSD. Genetics also seems to be one of its contributing factors. Certain types of events or conditions can alter conditions in the brain, and trigger migraine attacks. These common triggers include:

  • emotional stress
  • certain foods
  • food additive
  • weather changes
  • skipping meals
  • bright light
  • odor
  • a change in sleeping patterns or lack of sleep.

Chiropractic care

When our body is under a lot of stress, it can create a shift in the structure of the spine. As a result, structural shifts create abnormal nervous system function. Our nervous system controls everything and when there is an interference of normal function secondary conditions like pain, tension, back pain, neck pain, arm or leg pain, headaches, migraines, etc can manifest. The research demonstrates the effectiveness of improving migraines in pediatric patients. Through Chiropractic care by addressing these structural shifts.

At Revolution Chiropractic we specialize in structural shifts. As a result, the nervous system and the entire body can go back to normal and optimal function again.
