Pilates is an effective low-impact workout that emphasises your body’s core — The abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thighs, glutes, and so on. Pilates develops strength, balance, body awareness & flexibility. It can be beneficial for toning up muscles, improving posture and body alignment. It can also help with recovery from back pain and other injuries by strengthening the affected area.

If you’re unsure where to start, come along to any class and let the teacher know your experience and they will make sure you are well looked after or book in for a private lesson. The teacher will be able to advise you on your current level, as well as personal goals and timeframes they recommend to perfect your craft. (might need to book a complimentary chat for that)
